Guru Randhawa Early Life and Education:
Guru Randhawa was born on 30 August 1991 in Noorpur, District Gurdaspur, Punjab.
However, there is not much information available about his parents but he has an elder brother whose name is Ramneek Randhawa.
Randhawa’s family does not have any rich background. Like the majority of Indian families, he is also from the middle class.
Guru Randhawa’s dream to become a singer started at the age of 7 and he participated in school singing competitions.
He never missed any chances to portray his singing skills in his childhood.
By listening to famous singers on television, his passion for music has grown significantly.
He also won a school singing competition for singing 5 different songs.
However, he has participated in many singing competitions but he never lagged in academics.
He was good at academics and continued to practice music. But, at that age, his first preference was to finish his education and then pursue his dreams.

Then he completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Indian Planning and Management Institute (IIPM).

Career:
Guru Randhawa’s success in singing is not an overnight success. He struggled and worked very hard to achieve his dreams. Only his hard work and love for his passion make him script his name in the hall of fame of Punjabi Music.
Beginning:
Guru Randhawa began his career on 19 December 2012 by singing his first song “Same Girl” with Arjun Coomaraswamy.
The song “Same Girl” was the debut song of Randhawa as a songwriter and singer.
However, the song did not establish him as a significant lyricist, but he gives the boost and motivation to pursue his passion.
Then he released another track “Chad Gayi” in 2013 but this song also did not do well.
Guru Randhawa also struggled to find a record label and ended up with Speed Records.

Guru Randhawa has already reached his peak in 2019 and went on many international tours.
When he was on tour in Canada, he was attacked from behind by an unknown person while leaving the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver.
However, he suffered a minor injury in the attack and got four stitches in his forehead. It is said that the man who attacked him has a Punjabi origin.
